Gems. Life's full of them, even if you don't realize it. They're the small, precious, priceless things that we keep nestled in the drawers of our hearts. Quality time with your family, the day you learned to ride a bike, or if your a ballerina, your first pair of pointe shoes. Memories are beautiful, and nothing will ever compare to those that only you possess. As life goes on you realize that these precious moments are far more valuable than any literal gemstone you can own. I could never find just one thing to dedicate my blog to because there are so many things that are important to me. Pointes and Pearls was created as a place to express, share, and display just a few of the precious jewels that I happen to have discovered so far.
